he alter bore hundreds of hand-made wax votive cards. Each card featured a picture of a female victims ringed by rose petals, her name, age, date of death or body recovery in both Spanish and English. The dress Milagro was attached upside down with clothespins like the dress sculptures in the exhibit. At left was a small booklet describing the support groups for the surviving families of Juarez . Visitors were invited to make a donation and to choose a votive card to take with them.
