After the visitor completed her recording, she signed the name sheet, walked over the memorial wall and secured the sheet to a wire with a miniature close pin. The red wire grid was reminiscent of the fences surrounding the barrios and maquilladoras in Juarez , sites of memorials as places of abduction and body recoveries.
